HISTORY MONTH

“A Pot of Mulligatawny” was held at Newland Church in Victor Harbor on Monday 8th and Monday 15th of May at 11 a.m.

We enjoy taking part in South Australia’s History Festival – show-casing the National Trust’s Newland Church and Hall.  This Open-Door presentation meant the public ould come along and learn the history of the Church hear the magnificent Pipe organ being played walk across the road and learn the history of the Church Hall. This part of the event is free, and you do not need to book.

An Early Settlers’ lunch will be served for the cost of $10 – but you will need to book for this on Try-Booking or phone Lorna on 0419 804 957.

 

In 2024 We are planning to hold a Fire and Brimstone Service on

Sunday May 5th at 10 am, followed by Settler’s Lunch in the Hall. All are welcome to recreate the early years of Victor Harbor and surrounds.
